Marcelo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Elivélton de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapucaial. Sapucaial's Marcelo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Zilles got free with Reinaldo Quirino in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo Quirino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeu Zilles in the 42nd minute. Aguilhadas EC's Elivélton de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Messias in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Yuri Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardinho Sena was the one to do the kick off. In the 77th minute of the match Frank Mesquita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elivélton de Alcântara skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas EC's Luisão Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tadeu Zilles came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Aguilhadas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Zilles couldn't finish the play. Elivélton de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Miranda in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Messias in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elivélton de Alcântara saved Aguilhadas EC from getting behind. Reinaldo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Sena in the 91st minute of play. Tadeu Zilles succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Sapucaial were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
