An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Ferreira in the 5th minute of play forced Cassual's goalkeeper João Augusto Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Cassual got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Bittencourt. In the 10th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Dias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Augusto Alvarenga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Cearense during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Ibipitanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Cristiano Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cassual's João Augusto Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Ferreira in the 23rd minute of play. When Claudinho Britto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ibipitanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Britto couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute of the match, Samuel Aguiar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hélder Faria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassual's goalkeeper João Augusto Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Claudinho Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luís Guilherme Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibipitanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Guilherme Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Augusto Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ibipitanga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 61 minutes into the match, Cassual's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Ferreira came free, but João Augusto Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cassual's zone, Luís Guilherme Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Alvarenga came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ibipitanga's Hélder Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Aguiar in the 69th minute of play. Cristiano Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hélder Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Cassual's Cristiano Batista made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Ibipitanga's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Aguiar came free, but Hélder Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Cassual's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Guilherme Ferreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 86 minutes, Claudinho Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibipitanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitório Perez's late challenge caught a Cassual's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitório Perez helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Cristiano Batista put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Faria. 94 minutes into the match, Luís Guilherme Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Alvarenga. Cassual's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Guilherme Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cassual's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
