Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luizão Sampaio got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Cassual's Cristiano Batista got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Batista in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Guerra saved Uarati from getting behind. After 7 played minutes Uarati got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Passos. After a defensive mix-up in Uarati's zone, Samuel Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Guerra came out of the goal and Samuel Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Batista in the 16th minute of play forced Uarati's goalkeeper Dorian Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uarati's Dorian Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Batista in the 18th minute of play. Cristiano Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dorian Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Guerra having to interfere. With his leg João Augusto Alvarenga managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Uarati's Benjamin Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorian Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Batista went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Aguiar in the 34th minute of play forced Uarati's goalkeeper Dorian Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão Sampaio in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Alvarenga saved Cassual from getting behind. After the first half Cassual were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Batista to make the kick off. Luizão Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto Alvarenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luizão Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. João Augusto Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Sampaio in the 65th minute of the match. If Benjamin Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Túlio Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cassual's protests and gave Túlio Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cassual getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Túlio Nascimento hit a great ball. Luizão Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. João Augusto Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Samuel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassual's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cassual eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
