Betão Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio de Mendonça in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Túlio de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Betão Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute of the match Vitinho Meirelles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão Almeida skillfully saved the ball. When Digo Viana came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Caitete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Digo Viana couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Digo Viana got free with Dedé Arce in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Digo Viana came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Caitete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Digo Viana couldn't finish the play. José Augusto Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Túlio de Mendonça notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caitete's Betão Almeida. Betão Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, Caitete's Digo Viana made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedé Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Túlio de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Caitete's Luizão Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedé Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Vitinho Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campolide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caitete the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Campolide fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Diego da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Betão Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Túlio de Mendonça fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Betão Almeida, passed just outside the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Caitete's goalkeeper Betão Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego da Silva. Túlio de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Campolide's Oséas Marquez got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Jonas Oliveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Campolide's Dedé Arce didn't even have to move. Caitete's Betão Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Caitete from getting a goal against them. Betão Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio de Mendonça in the 89th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caitete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campolide the free kick. Diego da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Almeida having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio de Mendonça in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caitete had won after a very even match.
