Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Naldo Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caru! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Jardin. Adhemar da Fonseca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natanael Leal. 0-1. Ciro Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Narciso Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Jardin's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Pernambucano came free, but Matías Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jardin's Ramón Paraibano got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Caru's Narciso Ceresso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matías Abraão. Matías Abraão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Wilian Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jardin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Leal having to make a save. Wilian Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Leal having to interfere. Richard Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Caru's Narciso Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matías Abraão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Jardin getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Márcio Cruz hit a great ball.
Caru were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Jardin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademar Neves took the corner. After taking down the ball on Caru's corner Ademar Neves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matías Abraão quite easily take care of the ball. Naldo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Natanael Leal managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Jardin's Wilian Rezende fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Naldo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Caru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Leite couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jardin's Ciro Linares got a free kick in the 65th minute. Narciso Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matías Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Naldo Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Narciso Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Matías Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Leal made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Wilian Rezende sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caru had won after a very even match.
