Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pranchado's Marquinhos Nóbrega started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Paulo Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton da Silveira came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Teixeiras's Gildo Amorim. But to his dismay, Gildo Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Elivélton da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Lara in the 9th minute of the match. Marquinhos Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Linhares having to interfere. Fausto Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Teixeiras getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cafu Santos hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Gildo Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elivélton da Silveira. Pranchado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gildo Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Pranchado got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Batista. Gildo Amorim took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elivélton da Silveira. Elivélton da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Pranchado's goalkeeper Elivélton da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Amorim. Laércio de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Marquinhos Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildo Amorim kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 37thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pranchado's keeper Elivélton da Silveira was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 39th minute of the match Teixeiras got a corner. Pranchado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Duda das Neves ran over to the corner to take the kick. Duda das Neves made a great header on Teixeiras's corner, it was just that Pranchado's Elivélton da Silveira managed to reach the ball for a save. Simão Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simão Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simão Sabóia hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luiz Paulo Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Laércio de Lara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

In the 58th match minute, Teixeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teixeiras's Luiz Paulo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Nóbrega in the 70th minute of play. Duda das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duda das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Teixeiras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Toninho Lago shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Teixeiras's Cafu Santos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Alan Perez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Pranchado's Elivélton da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio de Lara in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Teixeiras's Laércio de Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elivélton da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Pranchado got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Martins. Teixeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
