Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Víktor Nogueira started the match with the kick off. Sabino Arruda took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonsinho Netto. Afonsinho Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Luisinho Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdomiro Saldanha took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonsinho Netto. Afonsinho Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luisinho Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Sabino Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonsinho Netto. Itambacuri EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luisinho Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Afonsinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Itaccuce AD's Gilson Lago got control of the ball when Víktor Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Itaccuce AD's Valdomiro Saldanha got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Itaccuce AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Zilles to maneuver through the defense. Afonsinho Netto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Itaccuce AD's Luisinho Hermes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. If Luisinho Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sabino Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Afonsinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga Fantini during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itambacuri EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Guga Fantini hit a great ball. With 44 minutes on the clock, Reinaldo Koehler commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Itaccuce AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itambacuri EC:s goal. After the first half Itaccuce AD were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Itaccuce AD's Gilson Hoffmann got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Víktor Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Itaccuce AD's Alfredo Teles got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Víktor Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itambacuri EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víktor Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilson Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itambacuri EC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luisinho Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Itaccuce AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Hermes couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Elias Zilles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Itaccuce AD's Elias Zilles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonsinho Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilson Lago came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Itambacuri EC's Guga Fantini. But to his dismay, Guga Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Luisinho Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Afonsinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itambacuri EC's Danilo Marquez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Luisinho Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Afonsinho Netto made a huge save. Afonsinho Netto made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Valdomiro Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Netto having to interfere. Itaccuce AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
