Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vallao's Léo Dracena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferreiros SC's Charles Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Dracena in the 3rd minute of play. Léo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Léo Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vallao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Dracena couldn't finish the play. Júlio Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Charles Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferreiros SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallao the free kick. After 18 played minutes Ferreiros SC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Moreno. Charles Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Ceresso took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Zanette. Artur Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leopoldo Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Zanette having to interfere. Leopoldo Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vallao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferreiros SC were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodriguinho Eger was the one to do the kick off. Charles Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Artur Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Quintal in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vallao's zone, Leopoldo Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Zanette came out of the goal and Leopoldo Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Quintal in the 72nd minute. Léo Dracena scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vallao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! If Léo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Vallao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Passos to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ferreiros SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
