Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Léo Dracena started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Chicão Seco had several of the Vallao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Artur Zanette as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arcos's Alexsandro Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Raúl Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Zanette having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Raúl Saldanha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Zanette. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Fausto Baiano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vallao's Fausto Baiano got a free kick in the 28th minute. Raúl Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Artur Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Arcos's Raúl Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, Vallao's Léo Dracena made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Júlio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Seco in the 42nd minute of play forced Vallao's goalkeeper Artur Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Baiano hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After 51 played minutes Arcos got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Salgado. 56 minutes into the match, Chicão Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Zanette. Vallao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chicão Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the Vallao defense, Chicão Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Zanette. The Vallao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Zanette should have stopped the shot. Júlio Santos's late challenge caught a Arcos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Santos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vallao getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Júlio Santos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vallao's zone, Chicão Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Zanette came out of the goal and Chicão Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Zeca Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vallao's zone, Raúl Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Zanette came out of the goal and Raúl Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Júlio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Vallao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Santos couldn't finish the play. Chicão Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Raúl Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arcos's Raúl Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Chicão Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Raúl Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Arcos's Chicão Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vallao's Júlio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léo Dracena's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
