With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luís Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Claudinho Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaboti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comandante AD the free kick. After 10 played minutes Jaboti got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Mesquita. When Comandante AD's Dito Souza in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaboti's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Jaboti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Recife to maneuver through the defense. Dito Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Barral having to interfere. If Pedro Luiz Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gernando Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jaboti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Rezende couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jaboti getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Acácio Carioca hit a great ball. Sílvio Luís Barral made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when João Vítor Pontes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Souza in the 69th minute of play forced Jaboti's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Comandante AD got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Leão. Pedro Luiz Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Simão in the 79th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dito Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Barral having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gernando Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaboti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sílvio Luís Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comandante AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
