Kauã Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Cristóvão Ortiz from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Jardel Gerber's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kauã Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Gerber having to interfere. Genílson de Almeida hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Telmo Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Meier SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benjamim Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Meier SC's goalkeeper Jardel Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Breno Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cipriano Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Zanette who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jardel Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Cornelius SC booed when Meier SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Gerber having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Zanette made a kick off. Kauã Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 52nd minute, Cristóvão Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meier SC's Jardel Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Zanette in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Kauã Zanette notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Meier SC's Jardel Gerber. Jardel Gerber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Donato hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Meier SC's Cipriano Alvarenga got a free kick in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elivélton Martins during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elivélton Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Elivélton Martins got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th match minute, Cornelius SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Martins to maneuver through the defense. Meier SC's Breno Paranaense managed to work through Cornelius SC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Breno Paranaense dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cornelius SC's Cacá Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Paranaense in the 81st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Cornelius SC's Kauã Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aníbal Couto's late challenge caught a Meier SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Couto helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Paranaense in the 95th minute of play forced Cornelius SC's goalkeeper Cacá Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meier SC's Kléber Leme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cornelius SC. Cornelius SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
