Felipe do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Batovi AD booed when Ipane EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batovi AD's Paulo Viana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ipane EC. Romeu Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Arruda went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ricardinho Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ipane EC booed when Batovi AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Marquinhos Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batovi AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Narciso Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Leão in the 35th minute of the match. Ipane EC's Romeu Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Arruda in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Kiko Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipane EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batovi AD the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ipane EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Batovi AD a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Viana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ipane EC's Romeu Lima. 0-3. The Ipane EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Batovi AD were winning 0-3.

In the 53rd minute Batovi AD were awarded a corner. Paulo Viana went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Ipane EC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Walmyr Koehler hit a great ball. Narciso Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Ipane EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeu Lima. Ipane EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ipane EC's Felipe do Nascimento got a free kick in the 71st minute. Marquinhos Arruda struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Romeu Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batovi AD. Romeu Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Arruda in the 92nd minute of the match. Batovi AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
