Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ulysses Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Amaral made a huge save. If Ismael Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ulysses Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarana's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Zonta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademir Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Zonta in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Paulo Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute Giovani Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovani Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tony Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clarana's Rony de Amaral got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tony Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Faustino in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Xavier in the 41st minute of play forced Clarana's goalkeeper Tony Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademir Xavier made a kick off. When Décio Donato fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clarana's protests and gave Décio Donato a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 minutes, Albertino Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clarana and the Herculanea players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, Herculanea's Hamílton Silveira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tony Veiga. Ademir Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Clarana's goalkeeper Tony Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Faustino. Tony Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Elói Sena hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Herculanea's zone, Ulysses Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Amaral came out of the goal and Ulysses Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes of play, Clarana's Ulysses Zonta made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Ismael Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Zonta in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Xavier in the 98th minute of play forced Clarana's goalkeeper Tony Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Herculanea supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Herculanea would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
