In the 22nd minute, Wiliam Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizinho Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 29 minutes into the game, Sidney Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibipetum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minduri FC the free kick. Sidney Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Oséas Baptista was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Minduri FC's Luizinho Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Minduri FC from getting a goal against them.
