Dalmo Lopes started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rebojo's Sidnei de Souza got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Angicos EC's Ezequiel Coelho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jefferson Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Angicos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Terra came free, but Dino Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jefferson Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cristóvão Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Murillo Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Marinho was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Dalmo Lopes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmo Lopes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dalmo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Marinho having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Cristóvão Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angicos EC and the Rebojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Angicos EC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cristóvão Pernambucano hit a great ball. Dino Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Terra in the 40th minute of the match. Cristóvão Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferson Netto to make the kick off. Luiz Paulo Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dino Sampaio made a huge save. Elano Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Jefferson Netto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dino Sampaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Mello in the 65th minute of play forced Rebojo's goalkeeper Murillo Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Luiz Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Marinho having to interfere. If Luiz Paulo Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
