Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jefferson Netto kicked off to start the match. Sidnei de Souza hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Goiano in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Marinho saved Rebojo from getting behind. Rebojo's Luiz Paulo Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Ferreira was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. João Paulo Ferreira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kiko Brito. When Rebojo's Jefferson Netto in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assare EC's goalie prevented a goal. Murillo Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Simão in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Vítor Bertassi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assare EC and the Rebojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Murillo Marinho came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Assare EC's Noel Goiano. But to his dismay, Noel Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jefferson Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. João Paulo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg João Paulo Ferreira managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Rebojo's Luiz Paulo Terra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rd minute, Rebojo's Jefferson Netto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Paulo Ferreira. João Paulo Ferreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Jefferson Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Terra succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, Rebojo's Luiz Paulo Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Paulo Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Assare EC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vítor Bertassi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Paulo Terra in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murillo Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Goiano in the 80th minute of the match. João Paulo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
