Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Deivid Terra took the kick off in the first half of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Tartarem's goalkeeper Alberto Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Trancoso. Alberto Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Borges in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Sidnei Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fábio Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Ceresso in the 22nd minute of play forced Tartarem's goalkeeper Alberto Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deivid Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luiz Fábio Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Sidnei Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes, Tartarem's Romário Pernambucano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Loyola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tartarem reached it. Sidnei Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Loyola having to interfere. Bezerros's Luiz Fábio Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Costa in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Ceresso during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Bezerros got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Ceresso. In the 34th minute, Sidnei Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Deivid Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Gino de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tartarem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bezerros the free kick. In the 38th minute, Gino de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Trancoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Alberto Prata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 43 minutes of play, Tartarem's Sidnei Costa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Roberto Borges to make the kick off. Roger Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luiz Fábio Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Roberto Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Paraibano lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tartarem! If Júlio Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bezerros's Júlio Trancoso in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tartarem's goalie prevented a goal. Gino de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luiz Fábio Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartarem. Júlio Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Tartarem's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Trancoso came free, but Alberto Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Bezerros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Moura to maneuver through the defense. If Sidnei Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alessandro Ceresso was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Tartarem booed when Bezerros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Loyola having to interfere. If Gino de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Tartarem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The Tartarem players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
