Duda Barros came out of the goal and Luciano Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Nascimento got free with Duda Barros in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes Luciano Pinheiro rounded Domelia AD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luciano Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Roger Luz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Dênis Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosaria's Emerson Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luciano Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Barros was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Emerson Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Barros having to interfere. Duda Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rosaria fans cheered their team off the field, for while Domelia AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
