Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Almir da Cunha started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir da Cunha in the 5th minute of play forced Miraluz's goalkeeper Cesinha Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raí Terra struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Patrício Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miraluz. Oswaldo Barreto scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesinha Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cesinha Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Raí Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miraluz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Oswaldo Barreto took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha Melo. Cesinha Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Almir da Cunha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Charles Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gavioes FC's João Pedro Passos tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Miraluz's goalkeeper Cesinha Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Barreto. Oscar Rodrigues hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Raí Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miraluz's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrício Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Patrício Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durval Vale's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, Miraluz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Gavioes FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Miraluz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Pedro Passos took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Lenílson Castro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gavioes FC's goalkeeper Patrício Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesinha Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Oswaldo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Vale in the 73rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gavioes FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Miraluz getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Flavinho Barreto hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Gavioes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Vale came free, but Patrício Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrício Lima having to make a save. Miraluz's Flavinho Barreto got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Flavinho Barreto off the ground. Flavinho Barreto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Terra got free with Patrício Lima in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Almir da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Gavioes FC's goalkeeper Patrício Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí Terra. Gavioes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Miraluz for a fine match.
