Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fiori Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Alexsandro de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Guaporanga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Bastos came free, but Romeu Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Nunes in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Reynaldo Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaporanga EC's protests and gave Reynaldo Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camaquam SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaporanga EC the free kick. Flávio Tasso, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 34 played minutes, Guaporanga EC's Danilo da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodriguinho Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guaporanga EC reached it. Camaquam SC's Rodriguinho Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Camaquam SC from getting a goal against them. Guaporanga EC's Romeu Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Bastos in the 37th minute of play. Romeu Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Nunes in the 39th minute of play. Guaporanga EC's Fiori Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Borges having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Guaporanga EC's Reynaldo Palmeira got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to Camaquam SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lucas Vergílio hit a great ball. Mário Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Romeu Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeu Schmidt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ademar Prata. Mário Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Schmidt having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Guaporanga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Bastos came free, but Romeu Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Leonardo de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodriguinho Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo de Toledo in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Mário Nunes lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Romeu Schmidt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Bastos in the 86th minute of play forced Guaporanga EC's goalkeeper Romeu Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Fiori Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Guaporanga EC's Fiori Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Camaquam SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
