In the 9thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaporanga EC's Romeu Schmidt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Pedro Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo de Toledo in the 12th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Schmidt having to interfere. A collision led to Guaporanga EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Reynaldo Palmeira hit a great ball. If Nico Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Nico Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Nico Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Schmidt having to interfere. If Luís Gustavo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Nogueira having to interfere. Fiori Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Pedro Nogueira having to make a save. When Fiori Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Guaporanga EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Guaporanga EC's Reynaldo Palmeira got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori Alvarenga to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fiori Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Guaporanga EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Leonardo de Toledo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of José Pedro Nogueira. Guaporanga EC's Reynaldo Palmeira got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Reynaldo Palmeira off the ground. Leonardo de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Alexsandro de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Guaporanga EC booed when Guaricanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Mattos in the 84th minute of play forced Guaporanga EC's goalkeeper Romeu Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaporanga EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
