Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mamori FC's Tomé Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natanael Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Monteiro in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Gomes in the 19th minute of play forced Onhapora's goalkeeper Chico Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Onhapora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Onhapora's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Costa came free, but Chico Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Dinei Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamori FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Cordeiro in the 32nd minute of play forced Mamori FC's goalkeeper Natanael Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Alexandre Cordeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natanael Ribeiro, 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Delfim Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Mazza. Onhapora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Severo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Natã Seco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, one of Mamori FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mamori FC. Onhapora's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilton de Sena in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
A collision led to Onhapora getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nilton de Sena hit a great ball. With his leg Chico Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Mamori FC's Dinei Gomes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexandre Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Onhapora's Alexandre Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Carlos de Almeida placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamori FC's goalkeeper Natanael Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Alvarenga during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Onhapora booed when Mamori FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Umberto Monteiro in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 93 minutes into the game, Onhapora's Alexandre Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natanael Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alexandre Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Natanael Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onhapora. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Onhapora had won after a very even match.
