Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Corumba AD's zone, Alessandro Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Araújo came out of the goal and Alessandro Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Afonso Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Silva in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alessandro Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guedeslandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toninho Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Silva in the 22nd minute of play. Mathias de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Narciso Cerezo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 minutes, Armando Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corumba AD and the Guedeslandia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toninho Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Ivo Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corumba AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guedeslandia the free kick. Ivo Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Tadeu Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guedeslandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Araújo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Simão Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Monteiro in the 38th minute of play. If Jerônimo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Corumba AD's Jerônimo Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. Américo Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Américo Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio Fernandes got free with Toninho Araújo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Albertino Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guedeslandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corumba AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Corumba AD's Jerônimo Vale got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tadeu Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alessandro Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 80th minute, Armando Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Corumba AD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fausto Mello hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Tadeu Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Corumba AD's goalkeeper Toninho Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Pereira. After having played for 87 minutes, Tadeu Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guedeslandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corumba AD's Toninho Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Silva in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toninho Araújo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
