The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Braga in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 4 played minutes Ibateguara got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Vieira. With a little luck, Ibateguara's Enéas do Vale got control of the ball when Elias Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Cipriano Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Cipriano Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquim SS's Albertinho do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimir Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Ibateguara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boquim SS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vladimir Cavalcante hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Braga in the 22nd minute of play forced Ibateguara's goalkeeper Enéas do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boquim SS's Gildo Silva got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albertinho do Valle was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Percy Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Edgar Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibateguara and the Boquim SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Boquim SS booed when Ibateguara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Elias Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elias Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Cipriano Silveira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Albertinho do Valle, passed just outside the right post. Rafael Neves struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Albertinho do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibateguara. Albertinho do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Silveira in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Boquim SS booed when Ibateguara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Elias Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Enéas do Vale. Ibateguara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ibateguara's Cipriano Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Boquim SS had won after a very even match.
