A collision led to Boquim SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Agnaldo Coutinho hit a great ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel de Amaral heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boquim SS's goalkeeper Albertinho do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Percy Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Elias Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Amílton Breckenfeld. Jango AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Percy Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Breckenfeld. Jango AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jango AD's goalkeeper Amílton Breckenfeld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Tadeu Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Boquim SS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Percy Braga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albertinho do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Barros in the 57th minute of the match. Boquim SS's Albertinho do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Barros in the 59th minute of play. Elias Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Amílton Breckenfeld made a huge save. Beto Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Percy Braga struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Amílton Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boquim SS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Braga in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boquim SS's Agnaldo Coutinho pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Emanuel de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Boquim SS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hames. In the 74thth minute of the game Régis Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquim SS's Albertinho do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Régis Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Gildo Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquim SS and the Jango AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albertinho do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Barros's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boquim SS's goalkeeper Albertinho do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Régis Barros went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Régis Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Albertinho do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Boquim SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boquim SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
