Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wellington Diniz got the match started through his kick off. 13 minutes into the game, Claudinei Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piloes SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manica the free kick. The supporters of Manica booed when Piloes SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erivaldo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manica's Antônio Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Duarte in the 19th minute of play. Vágner Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Diniz in the 22nd minute of the match. Valdomiro Peres's late challenge caught a Manica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdomiro Peres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Piloes SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Peres to maneuver through the defense. If Wellington Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Manica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Ortiz hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesinha Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Carlos Augusto Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vágner Veiga made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Erivaldo Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Manica defense, Cesinha Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Quirino. The Manica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Quirino should have stopped the shot. Cesinha Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Antônio Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vágner Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Wellington Diniz could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Erivaldo Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vágner Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piloes SC's Vágner Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Piloes SC from getting a goal against them. Wellington Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Veiga having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piloes SC's goalkeeper Vágner Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudinei Cearense got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Erivaldo Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Augusto Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Piloes SC's goalkeeper Vágner Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Saraiva. Manica played a much better game than Piloes SC and deserved their victory. The Piloes SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
