The referee showed Fernão Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Fernão Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aluísio Paulista in the 14th minute of play forced Abundancia's goalkeeper Jarbas Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Rony Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee ignored Adiquinhao's protests and gave Fellipe Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Adiquinhao's Aluísio Paulista got a free kick in the 47th minute.
