Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frédson Gonçalves made the kick off which started today's match. Wilson dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Leopoldo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Gonçalves in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Keteroco's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Britto came free, but Leopoldo da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Frédson Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Quixabeira's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Gonçalves came free, but Décio Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Keteroco's Tarcisio Pernambucano tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when João Adolfo Amaral put in a rough tackle. Décio Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédson Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Miguel Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Passos having to interfere. When Dráusio Paes fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keteroco's protests and gave Dráusio Paes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Keteroco's Dráusio Paes got a free kick in the 40th minute. Leopoldo da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Britto in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Britto to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Miguel Faustino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keteroco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Faustino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Davi Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quixabeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keteroco the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quixabeira's Davi Coutinho got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Doni Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quixabeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leopoldo da Costa made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Quixabeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Décio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Passos came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Keteroco's Miguel Faustino. But to his dismay, Miguel Faustino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 85 minutes into the game, Christiano Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Décio Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frédson Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keteroco were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quixabeira for a fine match.
