Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maurício Vianna made the kick off which started today's match. Romário da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel de Lara's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Rubelita's Raimundo Paranaense got control of the ball when Luciano Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Brumadinho's Raimundo Paranaense threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurício Vianna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Maurício Vianna struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Raimundo Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brumadinho. Romário da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel de Lara in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Brumadinho's zone, Pedro Augusto Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário da Rocha came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luís Hoffmann during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brumadinho's André Luís Hoffmann got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Pedro Augusto Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Brumadinho got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Lopez. After 39 minutes of play, Rubelita's Pedro Augusto Rosa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Paranaense having to make a save. The Brumadinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rubelita were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Augusto Rosa made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Baptista during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 minutes, Nilton Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brumadinho and the Rubelita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Romário da Rocha, was totally fooled by Rubelita's Walmir Saraiva, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Vianna in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Paranaense saved Rubelita from getting behind. Luciano Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Maurício Vianna took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Paranaense. Raimundo Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Brumadinho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Augusto Rosa 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Raimundo Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Goiano in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Brumadinho's Maurício Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Rosa in the 82nd minute of play forced Brumadinho's goalkeeper Romário da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nilton Salgado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute, Nilton Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brumadinho's Romário da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Brumadinho from getting a goal against them. Romário da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Rosa in the 97th minute of play.
