Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benjamin Ferreira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Benjamin Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jano Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Mazinho Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tauapecacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Derrubada's goalkeeper Adhemar Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Cardoso. After taking down the ball on Derrubada's corner Gino Netto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elói de Sena quite easily take care of the ball. Jano Cardosos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Adhemar Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jano Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Barros made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jano Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Adhemar Barros was a little too slow when Mazinho Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Derrubada's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Paranaense came free, but Adhemar Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Antônio Carlos Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derrubada and the Tauapecacu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antônio Carlos Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Belmiro Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói de Sena having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Custódio Gaúcho during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Custódio Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jano Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Adhemar Barros made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mazinho Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Tauapecacu's Mazinho Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adhemar Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Mazinho Paranaense notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Derrubada's Adhemar Barros. Adhemar Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the game, Magno Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tauapecacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derrubada the free kick. Magno Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Tauapecacu's goalkeeper Elói de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Túlio Rosado. Tauapecacu's Mazinho Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belmiro Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói de Sena having to interfere. Elói de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Ribeiro in the 88th minute.
