Gino Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Elói de Sena made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gino Vale sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Tauapecacu getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Humberto Donato hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Tauapecacu's goalkeeper Elói de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Vale. When Magno Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tauapecacu's protests and gave Magno Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Tauapecacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tauapecacu's goalkeeper Elói de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomé Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Paranaense in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Mazinho Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tomé Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Elói de Sena made a huge save. Jano Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomé Pernambucano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jano Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Gino Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Germano Mumbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tauapecacu's Elói de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, Tauapecacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Rocha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Mumbach in the 59th minute of play forced Tauapecacu's goalkeeper Elói de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói de Sena came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Miritituba FC's Gino Vale. But to his dismay, Gino Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jano Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tauapecacu's Flavinho Mazza got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Mazinho Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Tauapecacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Paranaense couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Mazinho Paranaense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomé Pernambucano, 2-2. After some careless play in the Tauapecacu defense, Germano Mumbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói de Sena. The Tauapecacu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói de Sena should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Miritituba FC's Dudu Campidelis got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Humberto Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Miritituba FC had won after a very even match.
