Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gernando Vergílio kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Nelson Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catajal SS's Diogo Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelson Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Carvalho having to interfere. Nelson Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Váldson Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Gerber having to interfere. Erveira EC's Teodoro Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Catajal SS. Juan Rocha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Gerber. 0-1. Gernando Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Armando Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catajal SS. After 32 minutes of play, Catajal SS's Váldson Dracena made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Váldson Dracena succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. If Teodoro Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catajal SS's Gernando Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Váldson Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Váldson Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Edinho Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Diogo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Catajal SS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gugu Romero hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalmo Mendonça during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 63 minutes, Váldson Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catajal SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Dracena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Erveira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Vergílio came free, but Armando Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Váldson Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Váldson Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Erveira EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalmo Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes, Edinho Meirelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erveira EC and the Catajal SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Erveira EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Edinho Meirelles hit a great ball. Juan Rocha, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Erveira EC's Cido Quaresma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Erveira EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catajal SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
