When Donato França came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Zarzuela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato França couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anísio Pires was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Pires in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anísio Guedes saved Pira EC from getting behind. After 61 played minutes Zarzuela FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Sena. In the 68th minute, Felippe Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato França, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato França came free, but Anísio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Donato França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Donato França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anísio Guedes was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Bruno Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anísio Guedes. Pira EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anísio Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Anísio Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato França in the 84th minute of play forced Pira EC's goalkeeper Anísio Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
