Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Egídio Leme got the match started through his kick off. After 3rd play minutes Roger Fontes shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Luisinho Maranhense and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeferson de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Capanema's Fernando Vinhas got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to Capanema getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luisão Goiano hit a great ball. Roger Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisinho Maranhense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13thth minute of the game Jeferson de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argirita SC's Luisinho Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jeferson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Roger Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisinho Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Capanema's Almir Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Leme in the 27th minute of play. Almir Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Argirita SC's Egídio Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeferson de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeferson de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson de Senna in the 43rd minute of play forced Argirita SC's goalkeeper Luisinho Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argirita SC's Washington Vinhas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Capanema. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeferson de Senna to make the kick off. Jeferson de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Capanema's Almir Tinoco got control of the ball when Manuel Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Maranhense having to interfere. Luisinho Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson de Senna in the 67th minute of the match. Luisinho Maranhense came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Capanema's Roger Fontes. But to his dismay, Roger Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 73 played minutes Argirita SC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Terra. If Roger Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson de Senna in the 83rd minute of play forced Argirita SC's goalkeeper Luisinho Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Roger Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Capanema players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
