Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Figueiredo in the 4th minute of play forced Horizontina's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Cearense having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Dé Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xiquexique FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Alex Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dé Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Luz was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Kléberson Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luiz Gustavo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Edu Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Válter Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xiquexique FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válter Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dé Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Alex Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horizontina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remo Pirani in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Cearense saved Xiquexique FC from getting behind. Alex Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Cearense having to interfere. A hard shot by Válter Chaves from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Luiz Gustavo Luz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Horizontina getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luisinho da Costa hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Horizontina's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Tinoco came free, but Luiz Gustavo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiquexique FC's Hortêncio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Pirani in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Remo Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Chaves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Xiquexique FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute, Remo Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Hortêncio Cearense. Xiquexique FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 83rd minute, Alex Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 87 minutes into the game, Edu Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horizontina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xiquexique FC the free kick. Edu Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Xiquexique FC got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Borges. Alex Garcia scored 6-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th match minute, Xiquexique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Borges to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Horizontina had won after a very even match.
