Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robinho Novaes started the match with the kick off. Robinho Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conchas's Carlinhos de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Matos in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Cícero Alvarenga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caracol's Luisinho Moura. Luisinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gildo das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 19 minutes, Breno Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caracol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vivaldo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carlinhos de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Moura having to interfere. Breno Matos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 39th minute of the match Caracol got a corner. Conchas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dudu Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ronaldinho Cardozo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Conchas's goalkeeper Carlinhos de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Sérgio Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conchas and the Caracol players grew even worse after the yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Conchas's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Matos came free, but Carlinhos de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Carlinhos de Alcântara made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Matos to make the kick off. When Conchas's Robinho Novaes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caracol's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Caracol's Eugênio Velloso got a free kick in the 55th minute. Conchas's Aílton Mumbach got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carlinhos de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cícero Alvarenga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Caracol's Breno Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlinhos de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Sérgio Loureiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Breno Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos de Alcântara having to interfere. Giovani Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlinhos de Alcântara. Conchas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vivaldo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Carlinhos de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Moura having to interfere. Carlinhos de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Gomes in the 87th minute of the match. Carlinhos de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Breno Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Conchas defense, Vivaldo Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos de Alcântara. The Conchas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. The Conchas players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caracol from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
