Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rony Oliveira got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Raimundo Maranhense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rony Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Castro having to interfere. Sandro Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rafa Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Xixas SS's Rony Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa Bastos came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sassafraz's Valdemar Velloso. But to his dismay, Valdemar Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Xixas SS's Raimundo Maranhense was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Daniel Faustino's late challenge caught a Sassafraz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Faustino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Xixas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Faustino to maneuver through the defense. Xixas SS's Rafa Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Moreno in the 36th minute of play. Dráusio Miranda hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Valdemar Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rafa Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sassafraz's Francisco Bezerra got a free kick in the 46th minute. Daniel Faustino was shown his second yellow card after 49 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Daniel Faustino kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Sandro Moreno made the kick off in the second half. Xixas SS's Rafa Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Moreno in the 57th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Sassafraz's André de Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Xixas SS's zone, Andrézinho Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Bastos came out of the goal and Andrézinho Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráusio Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sassafraz's Andrézinho Ferreira got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rafa Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Velloso went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Sandro Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafa Bastos. Sandro Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Valdemar Velloso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Rafa Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Valdemar Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sassafraz's Sandro Moreno got a free kick in the 89th minute. Raimundo Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xixas SS's Raimundo Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Bastos made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Valdemar Velloso sent off a good shot on target. Sassafraz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
