Ronaldão Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Mineiro in the 14th minute of play. José Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ronaldão Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldão Linhares having to make a save. If Cipriano Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Jaguatei booed when Bandarra AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Armandinho Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandarra AD's João Pedro Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If José Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdo Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdo Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jaguatei's Valdo Brasil got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cássio Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. José Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Linhares having to interfere. Ronaldão Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Dante in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Cipriano Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but João Pedro Valadares made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguatei's zone, José Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão Linhares came out of the goal and José Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Dante took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldão Linhares. Ronaldão Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Armandinho Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. João Pedro Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bandarra AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jaguatei had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
