Nilson Novaes started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Itobi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Pires to maneuver through the defense. If Patrick da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Quaresma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilson Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Quaresma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. José Maria Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick da Silva got free with Angelo Quaresma in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Supia's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Silva came free, but José Maria Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Supia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. José Maria Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Emanuel Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Itobi AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Neiva couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itobi AD's goalkeeper Angelo Quaresma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Novaes in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Quaresma saved Itobi AD from getting behind. Angelo Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick da Silva in the 66th minute of the match. José Maria Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Silva's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Itobi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Mathias Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nildo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Itobi AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Silva couldn't finish the play. Percival Pinho's late challenge caught a Itobi AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percival Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Itobi AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
