Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Mello took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Guia FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dionísio Vides hit a great ball. When Vágner da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Tambequi AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Serafim de Senna's late challenge caught a Tambequi AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafim de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Guia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Afonso Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Mello struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Adelino da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guia FC. Adelino da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cássio Peres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Fábio Amorim. Guia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Fábio Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luís Fábio Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Luiz Fábio Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guia FC's Luís Fábio Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafim de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Amadeu de Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Mello in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelino da Rocha saved Tambequi AD from getting behind. When Tambequi AD's Vágner da Cunha in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guia FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Luiz Fábio Dias made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fábio Amorim. Guia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vágner da Cunha to make the kick off. Tambequi AD's Adelino da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Mello in the 55th minute of play. When Afonso Mello came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Guia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Mello couldn't finish the play. Luís Fábio Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Adelino da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Mello in the 64th minute of play. Adelino da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luís Fábio Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Guia FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Vides. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sérgio de Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Tambequi AD's players had a chance to rest. Afonso Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adelino da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Fábio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tambequi AD's Vágner da Cunha in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guia FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Guia FC's Dedê Quaresma got a free kick in the 91st minute. Dionísio Vides hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tambequi AD's Vágner da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tambequi AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
