The crowd rose to their feet as Ramalhete SC's Evandro Galvão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fábio Amorim. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Galvão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Guia FC's Serafim de Senna made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Mello in the 55th minute of the match. Serafim de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nestor Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
