Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rodriguinho Pires made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Inhai's Claudinei Lopes got a free kick in the 6th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Piracicaba's Vinícius Furtado tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Ernani Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Alvarenga. Inhai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernani Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Erivaldo Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inhai's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piracicaba's Flavinho Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Vianna in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Tande to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by André Luís do Vale. After 25 minutes of play, Piracicaba's Ernani Soares made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Alvarenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernani Soares struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Alberto Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piracicaba. After 31st play minutes Rodriguinho Pires shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Alberto Alvarenga and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Piracicaba booed when Inhai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piracicaba's Vinícius Furtado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Inhai. Dito Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Inhai were awarded a corner. Fabiano de Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fabiano de Toledo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Piracicaba's Flavinho Mandrak did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ernani Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Alberto Alvarenga made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, one of Piracicaba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute, Ernani Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Alvarenga. The goal made the score 0-4. Delfim Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavinho Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Vianna in the 75th minute of the match. Piracicaba's Ernani Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Inhai's Alberto Alvarenga got control of the ball when Ernani Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Alvarenga having to interfere. Dito Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Delfim Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piracicaba's Flavinho Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Rodrigues in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Ernani Soares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Zé Pedro Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Alberto Alvarenga to make any attempt to save it. Flavinho Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Vianna in the 99th minute of play.
