Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barrinha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fiori Arce in the 6th minute. Eduardo da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel de Mendonça in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Ezequiel de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Prado in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Eduardo da Mata successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Virgílio Prado's late challenge caught a Barrinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Prado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barrinha booed when Erecatu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrinha's Ezequiel de Mendonça managed to work through Erecatu SS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ezequiel de Mendonça dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Ezequiel de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Virgílio Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Denílson Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erecatu SS the free kick. After 37 played minutes Barrinha got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Andrade. Amadeu Matos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Eduardo da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrinha. Erecatu SS's Eduardo da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Erecatu SS from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel de Mendonça to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Amadeu Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eduardo da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Virgílio Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lúcio da Silva. The goal made the score 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Ezequiel de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo da Mata. Erecatu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ezequiel de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eduardo da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrinha's Váldson Senna got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Valle in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio da Silva saved Barrinha from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Ezequiel de Mendonça notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Erecatu SS's Eduardo da Mata. Eduardo da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Barrinha's Lúcio da Silva got control of the ball when Virgílio Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrinha's zone, Felippe Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio da Silva came out of the goal and Felippe Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Ezequiel de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio da Silva having to interfere.
