Felippe Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Breckenfeld having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Cupim FC's Ernesto Ceresso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo da Mata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ronaldinho Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Erecatu SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cupim FC:s goal. After 20 minutes, Aníbal Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erecatu SS and the Cupim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aníbal Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio do Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play forced Erecatu SS's goalkeeper Eduardo da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cupim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erecatu SS the free kick. After 26 played minutes Cupim FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Zanette. After having played for 26 minutes, Virgílio Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erecatu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cupim FC's Luiz Gustavo Zanette got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Luiz Gustavo Zanette off the ground. In the 28th match minute, Cupim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Zanette to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Hernani Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cupim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erecatu SS the free kick. Hernani Nogueira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Felippe Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Breckenfeld having to make a save. Leonardo Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cupim FC's Eugênio do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Felippe Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erecatu SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eugênio do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Eugênio do Nascimento could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Eduardo da Mata however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Erecatu SS's zone, Eugênio do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo da Mata came out of the goal and Eugênio do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugênio do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Valle struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Leonardo Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erecatu SS. After a defensive mix-up in Cupim FC's zone, Felippe Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Felippe Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Cupim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Valle came free, but Leonardo Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Prado's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Eduardo da Mata made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eugênio do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ernesto Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cupim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felippe Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Virgílio Prado came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Erecatu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Prado couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Prado in the 93rd minute of the match. The Cupim FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
