Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Figueiras SS's César Eger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Martins having to make a save. Murillo Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lúcio da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Figueiras SS's César Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, César Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Murillo Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Matos in the 24th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Paulinho Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Figueiras SS and the Barrinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Barrinha's zone, César Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio da Silva came out of the goal and César Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Figueiras SS's Paulinho Passos got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Paulinho Passos off the ground. Paulinho Passos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Amadeu Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

If Sílvio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murillo Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Váldson Senna fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrinha's protests and gave Váldson Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Barrinha got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Senna. Lúcio da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Eger in the 65th minute of play. Murillo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio da Silva having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Amadeu Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felipe Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Amadeu Matos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Figueiras SS's Felipe Martins. Felipe Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Váldson Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Martins having to interfere. Felipe Martins was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Ezequiel de Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel de Mendonça really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barrinha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
