Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renato Abraão got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Aruana booed when Babia SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Zilles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Edmílson Zanette made a huge save. Gláuber Zilles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Edmílson Zanette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tibúrcio Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Teixeira in the 15th minute of play forced Babia SS's goalkeeper Nildo Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Babia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Nildo Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Abraão in the 17th minute of the match. Nildo Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Abraão in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gláuber Zilles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aruana's Edmílson Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel França in the 22nd minute of play. Edmílson Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel França in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Aruana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibúrcio Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Renato Abraão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Loyola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aruana's Edmílson Zanette didn't even have to move. Caco Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Aruana's Edmílson Zanette got control of the ball when Gláuber Zilles tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gláuber Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zézinho Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babia SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Aruana's goalkeeper Edmílson Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gláuber Zilles. Edmílson Zanette was a little too slow when Gláuber Zilles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Teixeira in the 46th minute of play forced Babia SS's goalkeeper Nildo Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, Aruana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Linares to maneuver through the defense. If Marco Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel França hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gláuber Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Washington Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Mangueira in the 79th minute of the match. Marco Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Babia SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
