Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rubens da Costa started the match with the kick off. Elivélton Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brundue AD's Marcinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Ribeiro in the 9th minute of play. If Elivélton Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brundue AD's zone, Rubens da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Barral came out of the goal and Rubens da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Rubens da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Menezes AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Eduardo Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgílio Cerezo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo Barros. Luís Eduardo Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Elivélton Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Juninho Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brundue AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menezes AD the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Brundue AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Guedes to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Virgílio Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Luís Eduardo Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brundue AD. Rubens da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens da Costa in the 65th minute of play forced Brundue AD's goalkeeper Marcinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brundue AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Motta was slow to take the kick. During this time Menezes AD's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Menezes AD's Luís Motta to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcinho Barral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luís Eduardo Barros came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Brundue AD's Juninho Xavier. But to his dismay, Juninho Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 72ndth minute of the game Juninho Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menezes AD's Luís Eduardo Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Menezes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Xavier came free, but Luís Eduardo Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Brundue AD's Virgílio Cerezo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Brundue AD's Virgílio Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brundue AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Menezes AD for a fine match.
