Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafa Ramalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves João Vítor Ceresso could shoot a difficult shot in the 2nd minute, which Noel Soeiro however easily saved by the left post. Zézinho Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Anselmo Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orico. Anselmo Prado came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Orico's Zézinho Ceresso. But to his dismay, Zézinho Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Natã Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Soeiro having to make a save. If Natã Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Jardel de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Orico's goalkeeper Noel Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Vítor Ceresso. Anselmo Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Orico's Rafa Ramalho in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fructal SC's goalie prevented a goal. Zézinho Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Anselmo Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orico. After 27 played minutes Fructal SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Neves. The supporters of Orico booed when Fructal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademar Pitta, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31st minute Zézinho Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafa Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Prado having to make a save. Noel Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vítor Ceresso in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Zézinho Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Rafa Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Rafa Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Orico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã Bastos made a kick off. Natã Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Natã Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Soeiro having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Ademar Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Bastos in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Soeiro saved Orico from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Natã Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Soeiro. Orico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natã Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Natã Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Soeiro having to interfere. A collision led to Orico getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sandro Cordeiro hit a great ball. Noel Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Ramalho in the 78th minute of play forced Fructal SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Orico's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Bastos came free, but Noel Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Orico's zone, Natã Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Soeiro came out of the goal and Natã Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Sandro Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zézinho Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Orico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Ceresso couldn't finish the play. If Rafa Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Orico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
