In the 26th match minute, Fructal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Prado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Perez's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Anselmo Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Perez in the 36th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Tomás Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anselmo Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Celsinho Félix fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumati SC's protests and gave Celsinho Félix a yellow card for diving instead. 53 minutes into the game, one of Cumati SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Fructal SC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oscar Lima, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cumati SC's Donato Baptista. 2-1. The supporters of Cumati SC booed when Fructal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto de Queiroz in the 61st minute of play forced Fructal SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beto de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute.
