Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Luís Queiroz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Igrejinha's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Araújo came free, but Raúl Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Igrejinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. If Arnaldo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Miguel Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raúl Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serginho Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Queiroz in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Arnaldo Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Miguel Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Raúl Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Luís Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serginho Alvarenga having to make a save. If Arnaldo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Queiroz in the 33rd minute of play. Arnaldo Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Serginho Alvarenga made a huge save. Raúl Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Fernandez in the 37th minute of play. Arnaldo Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Guedes having to interfere. Eliseu Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Acudes EC were furious when Fiori Soeiro was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 47th minute, one of Acudes EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acudes EC. When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, Igrejinha's Víktor Tavares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Serginho Alvarenga. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luís Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Serginho Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Acudes EC got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Vander. If Miguel Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Guedes having to interfere. Acudes EC's Serginho Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Queiroz in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Igrejinha's goalkeeper Raúl Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Moura. Acudes EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Melo in the 91st minute. Oséas Moura made a great header on Acudes EC's corner, it was just that Igrejinha's Raúl Guedes managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnaldo Quirino took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serginho Alvarenga. Serginho Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Acudes EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
